Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year, Mountain Lions!
Transitioning from our milestone 25th anniversary last year, we are thrilled to enter a brand-new chapter at Sierra Vista High School. As I step into my sixth year as your principal and 23rd year in education, my pride in this community grows stronger every day.
This year, our focus is sharply aligned with our broader vision of ensuring every single student feels safe, supported, and universally connected.

Reimagining the Student Experience: The Den System
To make our large campus feel like a tight-knit family, we are officially implementing our school-wide Den System! Inspired by the success of focused student spaces like our Zen Den, this framework will:

  • Build Connections: Foster authentic mentorship and structured adult-student relationships on campus.  
  • Encourage Collaboration: Create vibrant communities for healthy peer engagement, team interaction, and school involvement.
  • Anchor Our Values: Bring our core P.R.I.D.E. values.
    —Perseverance, Respect, Involvement, Determination, and Excellence—to life in fresh, collaborative ways.

 

Combined with our commendable four-star academic foundation and a renewed focus on building inclusive classrooms that support every learner, we are set up for an incredible year.
