My name is Brett Terry, and I am the Head Wrestling Coach here at Sierra Vista High School. I’m very eager and excited to meet all of you and your parents as we approach the 2026–2027 wrestling season.
If you haven’t already, please log in to Aktivate (Register My Athlete) and register for the upcoming season with all required information. Aktivate must be 100% complete before an athlete is able to participate.
This is required for all athletes who compete in high school athletics.
EVERY SINGLE ATHLETE NEEDS A NEW PHYSICAL EVERY YEAR.

NEW TO WRESTLING? BEGINNERS ARE WELCOME!
No wrestling experience is required to be part of Sierra Vista Wrestling!
We will hold beginner-only practices every Wednesday from 3:00–4:00 PM beginning September 16 and continuing until tryouts.
These practices are specifically designed for boys and girls who are brand new to wrestling. We’ll teach the fundamentals, introduce athletes to our program and coaching staff, and help them get comfortable before official tryouts begin.
Athletes must have their Aktivate profile 100% complete, including their current NIAA physical, before participating.
If you’ve ever thought about trying wrestling, this is your opportunity. Come give it a shot!
TRYOUTS
Tryouts will be:
- Saturday, November 14, 2026 @ 9:00 AM
- Monday, November 16, 2026 @ 3:00 PM

TEAM FEES
The team participation fee for the 2026–2027 season is $350.00, plus the $150.00 spirit pack, and is due by December 1.
Payment plans and fundraising opportunities are available.

Our program relies heavily on fundraising and sponsorships to help provide opportunities for our boys and girls throughout the season, including competition, travel, equipment, and continued growth of the program.
